This is a great recipe for you to do with your kids.
Crack two eggs into a quart-size freezer bag and shake to combine. Add other ingredients such as cheese, ham, tomato, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Shake again and remove air from bag. Zip closed and place in pot of boiling water for 14 minutes. You can cook several bags in the same pot if using a larger pot. Omelet can be rolled out of bag onto plate easily or eaten straight from the bag.
We love to do this while camping. Hope you enjoy it too.
Nowadays, people are trying to save money, so they are thinking of more creative ways to make extra money. Throwing purse parties, Avon parties, and even jean parties are just a few of the ways people can earn a little extra money. Scrapbooking parties are a good way as well. There are a lot of options out there.
Another party to look into is, throwing a homemade gift baskets party. This is a great way to try something new and inventive. Gift baskets are fun to make and they are pretty simple to do. It allows people to have a creative control and make something unique. The cost can be pretty inexpensive therefore you can put a decent price on your party to make it more cost effective as well as let you make a little money on the side.
Perfume can sometimes be an over whelming smell on people. People are highly sensitive to certain smells. Allergies can be extremely high with people that have sensitivity to smells. There are other alternatives to scents that you can choose from that don’t have the intensity of perfume.
Choosing a body spray is an alternative that you can look into. The chemicals are not as harsh as some of the chemicals that they use in perfume. There are different fragrances that you can choose from in sprays that are a little lighter and more floral. Sprays last longer then most perfumes.
When you’re covered with poison ivy or worse, mosquito bites, it can be extremely painful. Not to mention very itchy. Aloe lotion only works for a little while. Calamine lotion smells bad and cakes on your skin. No matter what you use the itchiness tends to reappear.
A better alternative is using oatmeal soap. It’s all natural. It soothes your skin as well as takes away the irritation. It makes your skin feel refreshed. It can come in a bar form and even liquid. You have the choice of either taking a shower or a bath.
Trying to find the right type of gift can be stressful. Even for the most patient people. It doesn’t matter if the gift is for a baby shower or a bachelorette party. People have different tastes and nowadays creativity plays a huge part.
A great alternative is a gift basket. You can be creative as you want. For example, a handmade bath gift basket is great for anyone. You can put in little soaps, bath gels, towels and even a robe inside. The creativity is limitless.
You don’t have to go out and buy fancy skin scrubs to remove dead skin cells. You can create effective body scrubs with materials you probably already have in your kitchen pantry. For instance, combining sea salt and olive oil is a great scrub. Let the mixture soak into your skin, rub it well all over, and then wash it away revealing smooth, moisturized skin.
Another popular combination is the brown sugar scrub. Combine two teaspoons brown sugar, two teaspoons aloe Vera, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon honey, and one teaspoon almond oil. Mix the whole lot together and rub it into your skin. After you rinse follow up with a homemade body wash to lock in moisture.
Spring is finally here and with the warm weather comes one of my favorite activities: attending Farmers’ Markets! There are several small markets in my community that I frequent. I enjoy browsing through the stalls and selecting fresh produce.
A little further away from my home is a large market that has a permanent structure that is open year round. The wares sold extend beyond produce. I can get meat, fish, honey, and even ice cream. There are also stalls that sell art and beauty items like handmade soap.
After a hard day on the job, I look forward to taking a nice soak in my oversized bath tub. When I’m feeling particularly stressed I like to drop in a few bath fizzies. The bubbling water helps all the stress and tension from the day melt away. Bath fizzies are also quite beautiful so I’ve begun using them in decorating.
The bath fizzies I purchase come in a variety of colors. I keep them in clear glass jars and set them out on the shelves in the bathrooms around my home. In my master bathroom I have a window over the tub, so I put the jars there. The sunshine makes them look so pleasant! I’ve also seen bath fizzies displayed in glass dishes and bowls within easy reach of the tub so they can be plucked and dropped into the bath water.
Babies are fussy for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they’re hungry, or they need a diaper change, or maybe they’re over tired. When my baby is fussy for no apparent reason I like to give her a calming bath. Now babies are notorious for putting their hands, feet, and anything within their grasp into their mouths, so I’m vigilant about the type of bath products I expose my baby to.
I like to add an all natural mixture of goat’s milk and cornstarch to a warm bath. The warm water is calming while the milk and cornstarch mixture soothes and nourishes my baby’s skin. In fact, the mixture works so well that I’ve taken to using handmade goat milk soap during my own showers. The creamy, rich complex feels wonderful against my skin and the lavender scent of my favorite goat milk soap brand is just heavenly.
In the past my Valentine’s Day gifts to my wife have been pretty pedestrian. I usually go for red roses, chocolate, and jewelry. Though my wife always says how much she enjoys the gifts, I can tell that a bit more originality would go a long way. This year for Valentine’s Day I will be giving her a custom gift basket.
The custom gift basket I put together for my wife has all of her favorite bath items in her favorite scents. The basket includes Shea butter and goat milk soap, body spray, and lip balms. I’ve also included the 3-in-1 body wash, shampoo, and bubble bath she loves so much. My daughter is going to help me wrap the gift basket and I’ll attach a heart-felt, hand-written Valentine’s Day card. I just know this custom gift basket is going to blow my wife away… which worries me since I have no idea what I’ll do next year!
